Some of the kind comments guests have left regarding Brighton boutique hotel Kemp Townhouse
“We stayed in Brighton as a last minute weekend plan and our party all agreed that we will make Kemp Townhouse our regular place to stay. ”
It was impeccably clean and the host was friendly and willing to do anything to make our stay comfortable. This place is in a great location, close to the Lanes with a fantastic menu for breakfast and good timings from 9am - 11am. I have been actively recommending friends to stay here and would continue to do so.

“We have visited Brighton many times and this is by far and away our favourite hotel to date.”
We stayed in the snug double just before Christmas and had a really wonderful time. The room itself is small but has everything you need and is clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely pleasant, the rest of the hotel is imacculately presented and our stay was peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast was first class and sets you up for a day in Brighton. We have visited Brighton many times and this is by far and away our favourite hotel to date.

“The breakfast is ABSOLUTELY NOT to be missed.”
We stayed here for two nights in december and after looking online at some of the really shabby guesthouses that are available in Brighton, this was quite a find.
Everything was spotless and fresh. The rooms are decorated in a really contemporary and comfortable way. But it is the little touches that really made our stay special. We were offered mulled wine on our arrival accompanied by a freshily baked pastry. Beautiful.
The breakfast is ABSOLUTELY NOT to be missed. Food is so good they should think about doing evening meals. Would highly recommend this hotel and would definately stay here again.

“It's perfect"”
Breakfast is lovely, and I have found myself putting early meetings back to make sure I have time for pancakes.
As someone who travels all the time, this is the best hotel I stay in by miles. I feel safe, welcome and pampered.

“Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. Wonderful for grown ups and grown up kids alike”
We treated ourselves to a long weekend in May 2009 to coincide with the Brighton Festival. We booked reasonably early as we'd tried for rooms the previous Easter and New Year and had been a little too 'last minute'. Getting stuck in Bank Holiday traffic coming out of London hardly lightened our moods, but the welcome smile and offer of tea and biscuits on arrival, along with the sunshine and Brighton breeze blew all our woes away as we readied ourselves for a terrific few days.
The hotel has been refurbished beautifully. The decoration and finishing is super-tasteful and savvy making for a very comfortable stay. My girls were in the small double room and despite their best efforts to turn it into a bombsite (teenage girls can be very messy); there was sufficient storage space and very tolerant staff to turn a blind eye to stray make up, books and magazines, clothes, etc. Our room on the ground floor was spacious, gracious and despite my worries about noise (it is at the front of the building) surprisingly quiet. The bathroom was glorious, black and white wetroom with fabulous lighting (I just would have liked a little bit more room to put all my make up/toiletries, etc).
Breakfast was a treat. Beautifully prepared and served and sets you up perfectly for the day. The decor and layout of the dining room means that breakfast conversations don't carry around the room, making it a very peaceful place to be. Our fellow diners were mostly couples - we were certainly the only family with teenagers.
The location is terrific. Close enough to everything so that you really don't need a car or a cab, but just that bit away from all the noise. On the offchance that you haven't got everything planned for your stay, Claas was on hand to offer suggestions - his restaurant suggestions for both evenings we stayed were spot on.
We had a wonderful time and will return again. And when we got in touch on our return to ask if we'd left a phone charger in the girls' bedroom, it was returned to us pronto. To me a great sign of a hotel and hotelier that cares for its guests.
